The events of biopic “Nowhere Boy” take place in Liverpool and center on the childhood of one of the most significant and prominent icons in the world of rock-n-roll. John Lennon. Born in the family full of secrets, John was raised by his aunt called Mimi – a rather restrained woman. Later he reunited with his prodigal mother, the sister of Mimi, and this reunion became the reason of heated controversies between two women, desperately fighting for John’s love.
To that time John Lennon was a teenager of fifteen – handsome, smart, but troubled by his close relatives. Being naughty like many of the young men of the same age, Lennon often escaped from the family troubles into the fascinating world of rock-n-roll music.
That time he encounters another teen of his age, Paul McCartney, and finds a kindred spirit in his new friend. The hidden genius of Lennon soon manifests itself: the young man finds his voice and enters the world of music and explodes it by his howling success. “The Beatles” becomes one of the greatest events in the history of rock-n-roll. John Lennon and his band are considered to be ones of the most famous and recognizable persons all over the globe from those times up to now.
