The main hero of the film is White Mike. He is a former high school dropout, who succeeded in illegal business, connected with drugs. The supplier of Mike, called Lionel, invites him further in the drug world of Manhattan. And everything goes well, and everybody is happy, up to the moment, when all falls to the ground all of a sudden.
The situation gets out of control, when Mike’s cousin is found brutally killed on a playground of East Harlem, and his close friend is accused of this crime and arrested, and a new drug, known as twelve, becomes one of the best recreational drugs…
The dramatic events of the film are based on the original novel “Twelve”, written by Nick McDonell. The film stars Chace Crawford in the role of a drug-dealer, Emma Roberts as his childhood friend and Curtis Jackson as his supplier Lionel.

The drama film from filmmaker Robert Guédiguian describes the first days of Nazi occupation of France. The main hero of “Army of Crime” is Missak Manouchian, an Armenian poet. Together with a gang of youngsters and immigrants of many nations including Jews, Italians, Spaniards and Poles, he takes part in a dramatic struggle for freedom and ideal. Their enemies are both Nazis and their French allies, who support the first ones. The forces of rebels consist of twenty-two men and a woman, the Missak’s wife Mélinée, who launch attacks against their oppressive opponents.
The volunteers originate from unlike homelands and their cultures differ a lot, but all of them are united by the common yearning to stop Nazi violence and protect their lives.
The most significant attack of the rebels is undertaken against an SS general, whom they murdered. The news about it reaches Berlin, and the authorities make everything possible to get even on them. The rebels’ activity is to be suppressed and its instigators – to answer for their actions by their lives. Thus the German high command gives a lesson of cruelty to the French people.
The film stars Simon Abkarian, who perfectly portrayed Armenian poet Missak, and unsurpassed Virginie Ledoyen in the role of his French wife.

Milk of Sorrow is a rare disease, transmitted through the breast milk of a mother to a child. The women, who were raped or abused during the pregnancy or soon after that, have a risk to transmit their fears connected with the actions against them to their babies. The plot of the film centers on the life of its main heroine Fausta, who suffers from this illness of fear.
The action takes place in Peru after the terror war, during which many of the women have been mistreated or violated. The mother of Fausta was a victim of the war regime. Now the war is long as over, but her mother’s fears continue living in Fausta’s mind and haunting her constantly. To protect herself from possible sexual harassments, the main heroine follows the ancient traditions of Peruvian women and places a potato into her vagina. She believes that will stop the possible attempts of intruders and prevent her from her mother’s destiny.
The film, written and directed by Claudia Llosa, is a dramatic story with an intricate plot. “The Milk of Sorrow” describes a hard journey from constant fears, hidden deep inside one’s mind to freedom. The film is also a vivid picture of the cruel reality of Peru during the war times.

After the death of his mother Joshua 'J' Cody, a seventeen-years-old guy, moves to his estranged relatives. This is a criminal family, which consists of his grandma Janine ‘Smurf’ and her three sons known as the Cody boys. Andrew 'Pope' is the eldest son, earning a livelihood by armed robbery. The middle son called Craig succeeded as a drug dealer. And the youngest son Darren follows his elder brothers’ steps.
The situation around the family becomes very tense, when Barry Brown, the close friend and business partner of Andrew Cody, decides to leave their common business. He thinks, it is just the right time for him to do away with the drug dealing, as the times of their old good banditry are over. Barry’s resignation causes the strained relations of the family with the police.
Thus the young Joshua finds himself involved in the tensions between the Codys and the police. The police officer Nathan Leckie tries to lure the inexperienced youngster and use his confidence to suit his own ends – to conquer the Cody clan. And Joshua has to find his own place in this dramatic story and play his own game to survive.

The dramatic events of the film are related to the year 1982. This is the time of The First Lebanon War. A single tank accompanied by a platoon of paratroopers is sent to perform a seemingly simple task. The mission of the tank crew is to find a hostile town.
The scenario of the film is written by Samuel Maoz, who is also a director of “Lebanon”. The events of this war drama are based on own recollections of Maoz and his experience as a novice soldier, who has served in the Israeli Army during the war.
The film’s action takes place in a tank cabin, and the world outside the tank interior is shown the way, how the tank crew can see it – through a lens of a periscopic gun.
The simple task, which turned to a real nightmare for the tank crew members, became their test for survival. The film shows brutal violence and the total chaos of war, which causes nothing else in the human being but the constant fear, where the basic instinct predominates over the man.
The process of writing down and filming his sufferings in Israeli Army became a good remedy for Maoz, who managed to get rid of fears and painful memories, caused by wartime troubles.
Starring in the film are young but promising Israeli actors, such as Ashraf Barhom, Yoav Donat, Oshri Cohen, Reymond Amsalem and the others.

The game has its elaborate rules, and each member should strictly follow them according to the character, which he plays.
Thus Erik gets into the dark woods, where the battle between medieval warriors is about to take place. This is a fight between brave Celts, violent Vikings, mysterious elves and sinister shaman Murtagh.
Everything goes well, until the game situation gets suddenly beyond control. Eric learns that his girlfriend has been seduced by one of the players. His reaction is evident… And all of a sudden players begin to break the rules and even change the characters, they play. The game becomes the place, where fantasy and reality confront each other, and it turns to a tragedy.
Alexandre Franchi tried to show the audience, how difficult is to survive in a made-up world. And this difficulty is connected mostly with the identity, one has to adopt, especially if it doesn’t coincide with the real state of things.

Therefore his relatives often can’t understand his pain and sufferings and problems they cause. The main hero finds a new job, offered him by his Father-In-Law, but this kind of job doesn’t help him to get rid of the dramatic war experiences, but rather reminds of them…
Feeling absolutely lonely James soon finds a soul mate, who understands him and supports him in difficult situations. This is an army buddy, with whom James reconnects and who provides James with sympathy and camaraderie he needs badly.
The drama film by writer and director Ryan Piers Williams describes the moving story, connected with emotional trauma caused by war. The hero of the film has a difficult mission – to find the way out of it.

Seduced by easy money and fast action, Cruz soon gets involved into the dangerous life of the city. As a result his life changes out of all recognition. His voice is no more poetic, his identity is lost and his relations with close ones are almost disrupted. It takes a certain period of time for Cruz to understand all the drama of the situation he has got into. But perhaps it is not too late for him to change back. If only he could cope with himself and get along well with his dying dad and the others…
The dramatic events of the film are centered on the father-son relations. These are uneasy ones, full of contradiction and even confrontation of old and new worlds. But still there are some points of contact, promising the possibility to restore mutual understanding between son and dad.

But to do that, she has to interfere into her father’s illegal business, following her father’s steps. On this way she got into dangerous places and situations, inhabited by problem people. This is the society, where and with whom her father spent the most of his time. To find him is the only chance for Ree and her family to survive, otherwise they have to live in Ozark Mountains, penniless, homeless and suffering from starvation…

So this seemingly casual happening changes everyday lives of both Georges and Marguerite. While they exchange civilities, providing them with numerous thanks, their chance meeting suddenly grows into great romantic adventure.
Alain Resnais – the brilliant filmmaker and the director of “Wild Grass”, created this drama film to show the audience, how events, even insignificant by the first sight, can become a starting point to something serious and even grandiose in our lives. “The Kings” royalty has its own principles and contests, and each member of it, who goes through their contests, becomes more and more popular in their world. And as soon as Ted passes his challenges, he becomes more and more self-confident and self-satisfied. One of the contests includes getting freshman girls to the parties; the next one is to keep silence, when you become a witness to fights, and so on.
But the longer he spends in this sort of society, the more evident Ted realizes: “The Kings” have nothing to be admired or impressed. On the contrary, soon Ted reveals all the true about this so-called royalty, and this true is connected with corruption. Ted has to fight for his moral principles, which have nothing in common with ones of the group including his brother Truck, with whom he has to confront.
