Three teenagers are living with their mother and father on a remote country estate. The politics of the parents is very strange and tight, when it comes to children upbringing. Their kids are totally isolated from the whole world. For the educational purposes they listen to a bunch of handmade tapes, for physical exercises and the entertainment there are also some strict rules, invented by the parents. They avoid new words in order to limit and prevent the possible influence of the world out of the estate boundaries. Any outside word receives a new meaning here, often having nothing in common with the original. So “the sea” means a huge armchair, and “zombies” are none other than small yellow flowers.
The only outside member, who is allowed to come to the house and keep in touch with children, is Cristina, a family’s security guard, who is hired to entertain the male carnality of their son.
But the system of total control invented by the parents can’t exist forever. One day the whole world within the house crashes, and it is Cristina, who is responsible for that. Tired from all the prescribed rules and sexual harassments of the son, she presents a pretty stone headband, which glows in the darkness, to one of the sisters. This action becomes a starting point on the way to shake all the inner world of the estate to its core.
