“Get Low” is a mysterious tale, based on real-life events, happened with a legendary hermit, living in 1930s in the woods of Tennessee, US. Given in the Southern tradition of storytelling, the legend touches upon the last will of Felix Bush, who realized one day, it was high time he had passed away.

Absolutely absorbed by this idea, he decided nothing else but preparing his own funeral. According to his plans, the invitations to his last ceremony had been sent and the guests came to honor him, although he was still alive and took part in this sort of funeral party himself! The funeral was organized by the local undertaker, played by Bill Murray and his best friend, played by Lucas Black.

On the funeral ceremony Felix Bush is going to make a declaration of great importance about himself, that will certainly shake his audience. That is his last desire to reveal his secret, and this must be surely the one, that will cause a profound shock.

The film, directed by Aaron Schneider, is a great mix of paradoxes and comic situations, which don’t allow the viewer to remain indifferent. Starring in the film are such well-known celebrities, as Robert Duvall, Bill Murray, Scott Cooper, Sissy Spacek and Lucas Black.
