Gordon Gekko has just come out of prison to see the new world standing on the threshold of financial crisis. Gordon is a former corporate raider, whose reputation on Wall Street seems to be tarnished forever. Gekko’s methods are out of date, and he can’t find his place in the world changed so much during his absence. The daughter of Gordon doesn’t want to see him either, as she considers him to be guilty in brother’s suicide. She hasn’t communicated with her father for eleven years, and she doesn’t feel like communicating with him now as well. Gordon wants to repair his relations with daughter at any price, and for that purpose he forms an alliance with Jacob, a young Wall Street trader and a fiancé of his daughter. In return the former raider is going to help the young but promising Jacob to make a brilliant career in the financial world. Gekko has to redefine his life and himself to achieve his goals…
