The touching love story between the promising Russian composer and one of the most successful fashion icons takes place in the beginning of the 20th century. 1913 Igor Stravinsky came to Paris with his new masterpiece – “The Rite of Spring”. The controversial character of the music although didn’t suit the tastes of the French audience, who criticized it as too radical and too revolutionary. The debut of Stravinsky on Paris stage failed, and his reputation as a composer was ruined for many years. Nevertheless there was someone, who admired his The Rite of Spring”, and it was Coco Chanel, who found his work excellent and very impressive.
Seven years later Stravinsky and Chanel meet again. Coco has just lost her boyfriend Boy Capel in a car crash - the one, whom she has been infatuated with for many years. The prominent fashion designer gets to know, that Stravinsky and his family are refugees, who stay in Paris now but have no means of subsistence. Feeling deep compassion for the composer, Coco invites Igor, his wife Catherine and their four children to live in her summer house. Their relations become very friendly, but soon they grow into something more serious, than just a friendship. The attraction between fashion icon and Stravinsky turns into a dramatic love affair.
