“Remember Me” is a romantic drama, touching upon the issues of love, its power and the importance of family relations.

The main hero of the film is Tyler (Robert Pattinson), a light-hearted student living in New York City. He still suffers from the tragedy happened in his family – the sudden death of his brother. This loss hasn’t only shocked all the relatives, but became one of the reasons, which separated them. Tyler’s father (Pierce Brosnan) seems doesn’t care of his way of living and feeling at all, so his mother and her new husband do. Moreover the guy can’t often find the common language with all people around him.

Tyler guesses, that nobody can understand what he feels and what he passed through, until he accidentally gets acquainted with Ally (Emilie de Ravin). He has never thought he could fall in love with her, and never expected this to happen. But thanks to this new feeling he seems to forget his dramatic past and pain it caused. Inspired by their relations with Ally, Tyler thinks he has found the sense of his life and its meaning. But this happiness couldn’t last for long. Soon the hidden secrets of his family get disclosed and the circumstances start slowly to tear them apart.

The film, directed by Allen Coulter, was based on Will Fetters’s screenplay.
